What is House Church?
House Church is an opportunity to pull away from the busy schedule, go deeper into God’s word, and deeper into community within SUB25. In the New Testament, we see that several churches met regularly in houses. They gathered for worship, prayer, Bible study, meals, etc.
On February 7-9, we’ll head to a large lake house on Weiss Lake (a little under 2 hours away). We’ll share meals, study the Bible, worship, and spend meaningful time together all under the same roof. We would love to see you there! Space is limited, so sign up today!
FAQs
How long does it take to get to the lake house? About 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Will the church provide transportation? We encourage you to carpool! If you need a ride, let us know, and we’ll help you find one!
Will I have time to study or take care of work over the weekend? Yes! We have plenty of free time built into the schedule.
Money is tight. Can the church help cover some of my expenses? If money is preventing you from joining us, please let us know! We’d love to help find a way for you to join us.
What’s the difference between House Church and The Retreat? The biggest difference is… we’ll all be in a house together throughout the weekend. This gives us a deeper sense of community! We also have less space, so our group size is limited. This allows people to get to know each other a bit better than they would on The Retreat.
